On the 26th of September, all roads led to Blackboxbyczars in Lekki, Lagos, for an unforgettable night of entertainment and delightful performances from TAG SHOWCASE 2.0. This highly anticipated event brought together talented artistes, industry professionals, and music lovers for an experience one can only describe as incredible.
A Night of Non-Stop Entertainment
The event kicked off at 9:30 pm, with charismatic host Mannydubem commanding the atmosphere with his top of the shelf MC-ing skills. Lami‘s red-carpet charm added a touch of glamour and class, while DJ Zaanniii, DJ Wells, and DJ Damifresh kept ‘bursting’ our heads with their expertly curated bangers to ensure the event had no dull moments.

Top tier Performances
The event’s main attraction was the incredible lineup of over 20 talented performers. Even though every act that graced our stage were great, 100B and ILY JAY delivered exceptionally captivating sets worthy of being named the third and second best performances of the night. Maneel, however, stole the show with his show stopping performance, taking home the highly coveted title of Performer of the Night and a cash prize.
Special Guests
TAG SHOWCASE attracted an impressive array of special guests, including an industry legend in person of Majorbangz and former DMW signee, Ayanfe who both had a few words of encouragement and tips for the creatives in attendance. The event’s popularity was evident, with a sold-out crowd of 118 enthusiastic attendees and refreshments flying off the shelves.
